Polyana Ski Resort

Polyana is a breathtaking mix of thick forested mountains flanked by impressively imposing white peaks.
Not well known by anyone outside the area, this will soon change once skiers see what is on offer here.
The resort offers a good mixture of long and short ski runs,
good thick snow and stunning scenery. The only difference between this resort and any popular one in the Alps is that Polyana
doesn’t have quite as good facilities. However, the whole of this area is coming up so naturally this will change.
With such places like this one hidden on its mountain sides, the Carpathians will no doubt become one of the top skiing destinations in Europe. |
Summers here are warm and many summer visitors enjoy a swim in one of
the many lakes and mountain rivers, like the ones in the gallery. The water is very clean and many say it has health benefits
due to excellent quality of minerals present in it.
Polyana benefits from having good access and is nearby two large towns and a main road.
Access to the resort is via a B-road off the main M17. The good sized town of Svaljava is not far away and the large town of Mukcheve is not
far either.
Plus there is Sinyak ski resort not too far away either.
